Here’s lesson #2 from the only generic trainer in

the world that will tell you HOW to build your

home business, 40 years of personal experience and all

you have to do is read, learn and put into practice

what you learn!!!!

In Lesson #1 we discussed that the fastest way to build
a large organization is through the help of
leaders. We also defined the difference between a
network marketing leader and a distributor.

When we focus on leaders, it changes how we build
our business.

People always ask me:

‘Big Al, what’s the secret to success in network
marketing?’

I have a quick, short answer that I’ve used for
years and it goes like this:

‘To be successful in network marketing, all you
have to do is build leaders and make them
successful.’

In other words, if you had a choice to go out and
do a retail party to sell some skin care or long
distance or whatever, that’s nice – but that’s
probably a job. That’s not building the type of
residual income business you want.

While this activity is part of your business, this
activity will not be the fastest route to your
goal of becoming a leader.

You have to think differently if you’re going to
build a large and successful downline organization.
You’re going to carefully focus on which activities
you do, because you want to be a leader.

Ok will the REAL MLM LEADERS please stand up!!!

As I write this post I an wondering if on Linkedin

people will just shoot their “DEAL” as a comment…..or

will they actually read it and learn…….

Lesson #1.Every network marketer wishes that he had a
massive organization and more leaders in his
group. Life would be wonderful. The bonus checks
would be too heavy to carry. And, he could watch
cable television 24 hours every day.

So why not take a shortcut to build your network
marketing business? The fastest way to build a
large organization is through the help of leaders.

We can’t build a very large network marketing
organization on our own if we only sponsor
distributors. Our time is limited. We can only
service so many distributors and their problems.
Even the best distributors need some service and
help.

The way to multiply our efforts is to create
leaders who can take care of their own groups.
Duplicating ourselves by creating new leaders is
the only way to build a large, massive
organization.

What you write for your sales letters can also be used
in your email messages, on your website and even in
your fliers.

 

When writing your sales letter, remember:

Just a couple of thoughts and then on Tip 5.

Many Network Marketers are working working for minimum

wage and do not realize it. Check the number of hours that you

are working and divide that into your bonus check amount to get your answer.It is usually a shock when we see the answer.

The remedy is to spend fewer hours using skills that do not

work and learn the skills that do get results. If the results that

you want include more customers and partners then then

What do prospects sometimes think of our business cards,
flyers, brochures, key chains, pens, memo pads and other
advertising items?
 

Junk.

While these items may have our name and phone number for
contact purposes, they really don’t sell our opportunity for us.

Instead of leaving these items, why not try a ‘Top Ten’ list of
reasons your prospect would want to join your opportunity or
use your product. You can add a little humor to make the list
memorable.

Someone commented on a post I saw a few weeks ago, “this

is the 10th time Ive been pitched on Tom Schreiter”, well I almost

fell off my chair laughing, how stupid can ya be? Tom trains

for your success not his…ba duh!!!!! Here’s more for ya, want to

When I do my live workshops, I don’t do any introductions
and I don’t spend any time talking about my credentials. I
just start sharing prospecting techniques.

The workshop participants don’t care about my credentials.
And, they are right. My credentials won’t make them a cent.

I wrote six books on how to sponsor distributors. Because
I wrote those six books, not a single workshop participant
will earn an extra dollar on his bonus check.

Even if my credentials included a Ph.D. degree in Networking,
my credentials still don’t mean a thing.

Prospects are afraid to take risks. That’s natural. 

We attempt to soothe their fears by saying things such as:

* “Try our business. We have a 30-day money-back guarantee.”

* “Try our product or service. We have a 30-day money-back guarantee.”

Did you ever notice that these guarantees seldom close the prospect? The prospect feels embarrassed to take advantage of a refund, so the prospect never makes the initial commitment to try the product, service or business opportunity.

You’ve noticed that, haven’t you?

So why not try this? Give your prospect the “truth” guarantee. It will shock your prospect and create a “fear of loss” motivation. Say:

“I have one guarantee about our business. If you don’t try anything, you are guaranteed that nothing will change. The commute time to your job won’t change. The limited time you have with your family won’t change. Your current paycheck won’t change.”

Many Network Marketers are working working for minimum wage and do not realize it.

I hope that you all read this (for a change….LOL). I made a post that would be helpful to most, instead I get mostly people that are desperate and have not yet learned what the successful people have learned. Here is the title and link to the posted article,  “Sure I want to be in my own business, but I can’t afford the distributor kit.”

Now unlike most I believe that to build a strong organization one must build relationships, I have helped many but just a few are involved with my personal business. Perhaps now you want to know why after helping so many so few have joined me? Well there is a number of reasons but mostly it’s because we fear to seek the truth and believe the people we know like and trust, not that these people are bad but they “don’t know what they don’t know” and that is dangerous. In today’s rush-rush society, people don’t want to read long,
boring instruction manuals. They don’t want to waste time
with trial and error.

Prospects want personal attention and personal training to

Once we recognize the desire for training, sponsoring gets easy.

Why?

Because we are giving prospects what they want.

Several years ago I had the following experience.

I observed a master trainer conduct an opportunity meeting.
He spent very little time talking about the company, the
products, and the opportunity.

In fact, he hardly mentioned them!

Instead, he told the prospects about the wonderful training he
was conducting that weekend. This training would change their
lives.

They would have new viewpoints, great vision, understanding
of the universe, and anything else they wanted. All they had to
do was go to the training.

Of course they had to be a distributor to attend this training,
so every prospect in attendance quickly enrolled in the program.

Well, the training was good. In fact, it was great!

At the next opportunity meeting the new distributors talked
and raved about their training experience. Their enthusiasm
was so contagious that all the new guests quickly enrolled
as distributors so that they would be eligible to attend the
next training.

This cycle continued and a large, trained, motivated group
was built – with hardly any mention about the company,
products, or opportunity.

This proved to me that prospects are desperate for training
and guidance. I also learned that prospects would join even
if they don’t see a beautiful flip chart, video, or Internet
presentation.

By focusing on training, you’ll get more distributors and less
rejection. Few people have bad things to say about training
and learning new skills.

Making a decision to join your network marketing business
should be easy for the prospect – if you make it easy.

It can be quite overwhelming for a new prospect to make
a decision based upon the company, the company founders,
the mission statement, the products, the complicated
compensation plan and your entire upline support strategy.

However, you can make your prospect’s decision much
easier by showing how it makes more sense to join your
company than not to join your company.

Here’s some great sponsoring tips I have learned form Tom “Big Al” Schreiter, this is really great stuff that will help anybody in any business…do you want to learn the skills?

Prospects are everywhere. You just have to choose how  you would like to contact them.
There are lots of methods to locate and create prospects.
And all of the methods work – if you learn how to use the method correctly.
Many times you hear distributors say:
”Advertising doesn’t work.”  But is this true? Of course not. We know advertising does work. If not, who is paying for all those television commercials?
What the distributor should be saying is: ”My advertising doesn’t work.”  Once the distributor takes that personal responsibility, prospecting starts to make sense. If a distributor’s advertising doesn’t work, then the distributor has two choices:

1. Invest the time and money to learn how to make his  advertising work so that he can compete successfully with other advertisers, or 

2. If the distributor doesn’t want to make that investment,  then simply choose a different method of prospecting.

If a distributor says:  ”Direct mail doesn’t work.”  Is that true?  Of course not.  Direct mail works. Look in your mailbox and you’ll see plenty of direct mail weekly. The truth is: ”That distributor’s direct mail didn’t work.”

Now the distributor has the same two choices as before. Invest and learn how to make direct mail work, or choose
a different method.  What else doesn’t work?

You’ll hear distributors say:

”Internet marketing doesn’t work.”
”Cold calls don’t work.”
”Opportunity meetings don’t work.”
”Referrals don’t work.”
”Postcards don’t work.”
”Bird dogs don’t work.” 

And the same truth applies to all of these methods of  prospecting. Distributors must find a method of prospecting that
they enjoy, then learn how to use that method – or pick another method.
